CMS – Content Management Systems
A website that uses a CMS platform lets the client take the reigns once the website is launched. My CMS of choice is WordPress, because of the versatile back office management and it’s flexible template structure. Once the site is set-up, you can easily take over the content management. Using a CMS for your website is also the more cost efficient option, because WordPress sites use pre-made themes that the designer can customize for your specific needs. You can keep it simple or get as creative as you want.
Adobe Flash®
A Flash website never ceases to impress a visitor with it’s off the grid design and motion graphics. Though Flash doesn’t give you the luxury of updating the site yourself, these websites will grab your audience’s attention and keep them browsing longer than usual. Flash is a good choice if you really want your site to stand out. Maintaining a Flash website requires Adobe Flash software.
Hybrid – Flash® & CMS
The hybrid option incorporates Flash elements into your CMS website. These elements will still require an expert to modify, but you’ll have control over the rest of your site using the WordPress Content Management System. This might be your best choice if you want animated menu buttons or animated banners.
